It depends upon what the complaint is. You can file with your insurance company, state advocate, or state’s attorney general.

You want to make sure that the bill is yours. It could be someone else who has the same name as you.
Also, that you actually received the services.

Roberta McClintock whom I found through you and APHA said she politely disagrees. I called her because I was surprised to read that damages are not covered. She said I could say in capital letters that ALL E & O policies cover damages up to the amount for which you are insured ($1M in my case for up to three lawsuits in a year).

There was a lot of communication around this issue last year. There was an insurance specialist that APHA had for us all to use, but he disappeared and many of us who were looking for insurance investigated various companies/policies.
