I have a non-profit Advocacy, but I have done free services before. I do not raise m9ney for my non-profit organization because it is difficult explaining what health Advocates do and then trying to get business.

I agree with AnnMarie that rules depend on the individual setting. Private programs might be more amenable, but there will likely be state rules governing patient rights in this situation, and she or you can ask for both this, or any hospital procedures, ahead of time. I charge the same for everything. A minute is a minute regardless of type of service or environment.
Prepandemic I did a lot of advocacy in hospital settings, but that is much less common now.

I’m so sorry to hear about this situation. Has he seen the oncologist yet? Do you know why it’s taken 10 weeks to get in with an oncologist? I’m sorry, I’m sure I’m missing something so please help me understand the hold up. It sounds like it mght be insurance but I’m not clear on why.
