Ah! I am so sorry for missing this.
The quiz that would count for CE would be at the end of a lesson. We had intended to structure those with CE to allow you to continue to the next lesson without completing it. Ethics for example is one that would have had a CE eligible quiz at the end.
Quizzes in the middle should be more like check point…[Read more]

I agree with Cheryl’s points about a few months lead time and other professionals to move to when the time is comes.
It also depends on the type of clients you have. If they are long-term, then 3-6 months is ideal. If they are short-term, emergency cases, then the longest time possible depending on how their case is affected.

I’m in active practice. I imagine that when I choose to retire, that I will give my clients lots of notice (a few months) as well as help them find a new advocate. And of course, I’d begin the process by no longer taking on new clients. Sorry I don’t have more specific advice for you. Congrats on moving on to your next chapter!

Hello,
I am thinking about retirement and wondered:
1. When to inform my clients? How much lead time?
2. Is there a template letter for retirement?
Thanks for your thoughts,

Hi Linda, sorry for the late response. I had settled three ambulance bills and one life flight bill for a significantly reduced amount. This was for three different patients under one carrier that had stopped coverage.

I’m searching for a direct, weight-neutral/inclusive PCP on behalf of my client in Michigan. They are seeking someone who is versed in or at least collaborative and concerned with SDoH enough to learn about weight-neutral/inclusive care. They’re hoping for a direct care or concierge model, since their needs are complex and would greatly benefit…[Read more]

Hi all! Hope you are well!
Stephanie – For the action plan for Sandy, did you modify the number of hours you quoted them when they first declined options 10 and 11? I am also curious if you ever present baseline (for lack of a better term must do) actions and then optional add-on actions based on the situation.
I just found the schedule of Q…[Read more]

My strengths are empathy, public speaking, networking and handling challenging conversations. I hope to gain a better understanding of how to price my business and assessment of my efforts. Overall I need to gain confidence in how to market myself and the value I can provide to people outside my family.

Hi Stephanie and fellow coursemates!
I know Stephanie said not to take the quiz in the courses now if we are sitting for the BCPA exam in March. Does that apply to only the quiz at the end or also to a quiz that is at the beginning or middle of a section?
For example, there is a quiz after the first lesson in Financial Basics. You can’t move on…[Read more]
