Hi Sylvia. Trisha here. Dena asked me to step in to respond to you…
The combined membership with APHA and My Junna was no longer offered beginning in September 2021. It was up to me to remove all references, of course! And somehow I missed that one in the one reminder you received. (I’ve now gone through all the reminders to make sure there…[Read more]

Yes, but I believe it is initiated through your MYJUNNA account.

Lorelei–I have been figuring it but have not gone live with it yet. I’d be happy to talk to you about what I think so far. I’ve got a couple more things to work out before I go live, but I am getting close.

Anyone else use Healthie? It’s HIPAA compliant and has a lot of functionality to the point that it’s a bit overwhelming.
I love that everything is free up to 10 active users but before I invest the time in getting it really set-up, I was wondering if anyone else had used it.

Lisa – I haven’t called her yet. Honestly, this process of finding business insurance has been quite time consuming and I still haven’t found the right fit.
I went through multiple rounds of contact with CMF and was left not feeling confident that they would be the right fit for me as they rely almost entirely on someone else defining the sco…[Read more]

I renewed my membership last week and received an email confirmation several days ago.
I noticed that the Discontinued APHA membership notice I received earlier today mentioned that my combined membership (which included My JUNNA) had been discontinued.
Does APHA offer a combined membership with My JUNNA services?
Thank you

It might be a good idea to leave small flyer the staff can give to patients (i.e., an infographic or postcard size). The flyer should explain what you can do for the patient, and include your QR code. If you have a brochure stand, they might be willing to leave the flyer in their waiting room. You can do a small run of about 25-50 pretty…[Read more]

Hi everyone – Dena here – I wanted to chime in on this. For ICOPA, Deb brought QR codes and placed them at the APHA table instead of business cards or flyers. We used a free QR code generator like the one Christie referenced, which is super simple and nimble, and like Alison said, gets people to your website faster.

Thank you Allison and Christie! I have a QR code on the back of my business card which takes you to my website. My website has links to my social media and LinkedIn.
I use My Junna to load and track my contacts. -

You’re correct about the paper. I’d leave a few business cards for folks who are interested to take. A QR code is something to also consider as it removes one step from getting to your website. I usually kept the business cards in my desk drawer if I thought I might need to get back in touch. These days I put contacts in my phone with the…[Read more]

I agree people do not prefer paper takeaways anymore. I suggest using a QR code generator on a biz card or post card to hand out to attendees/guests so they can go later to download resources after your event with more detailed info. Of course there you should promote your advocacy business and how to contact you. Hope this helps. Just my two…[Read more]

I am scheduled to bring in breakfast to my OBGYN’s practice in early July.
It will be very informal and I am working on my key talking points and process (eg. Starting out with a question that will catch their attention. e.g. WHAT if I told you?Examples of promoting the value of my practice: Using terms like:
