In doing task #1, I found I am very strong in the entrepreneurial attributes. That is not a surprise to me.
I have run a medical practice before retiring, so I definitely thrive on the challenge of doing a business venture again and I am a risk taker in that regard. The one thing in the advocacy skills that I would need help developing is the…[Read more] -

Great assessment, Lisa!
Further on in this course we will be diving more into marketing, this is the part that Trisha loves talking about! We will also discuss more about where and how to focus on networking. These are fantastic strengths to have, Chelsea, they will suit you well in this profession! I am glad you identified setting boundaries, that is great self awareness. I too have a problem saying “no”, I don’t want to disappoint people, maybe you feel the same way? What I have learned is is when I say “yes” too many times and overwhelm myself then…[Read more]

Thanks Steph! Wow, 3 competitive dancers in the house! I never danced competitively – I grew up mostly doing modern dance – and now just love to dance any chance I can get. I truly believe in the healing power of movement – I highly recommend Gaga classes (https://www.gagapeople.com/en/) and Yoga Dance.

Weaknesses: I’m working on setting more boundaries – saying “no” to more clients. In my profession I usually wear a lot of hats and am used to working independently, but I know I’ll n…[Read more]
