Lesson 11 is the beginning of Client Acquisition, which describes the process from beginning to end of – yes – acquiring a new client. We’ll talk them through their fears, assure them we can help (but maybe not the way you expect), and then we’ll assess what they need us to do for them, convincing them to pay us to do the work.

I use Docu-Sign. I find it very easy to use for me and my clients. DS keeps a record of past documents and signatures. I have not had any issues with it at all. I pay $120/yr.

Hi Sylvia,
I have been using Adobe Sign for 4-6 months, and I really like it. I have the $15/month subscription to Adobe Pro DC. It includes Adobe Sign and PDF editing software, which I use quite a bit to create, prepare, and combine PDF files. Adobe Sign is quick and easy to use, both for me and my clients. I recommend it!
Kindly,

About five years ago, after enduring a string of challenging cases, I had a discussion with a wonderful colleague and friend about how this stuff can extract its toll on us. I even came up with a name for it – Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for Health Advocates.
Five years later, PTSDHA still has not broken into ICD-10’s Top 70,000. It still has…[Read more] -

I am getting ready to launch my practice in March and curious to know what document signing software everyone is using?
1. Are you just scanning and sending legal documents to your client for print out, signature and rescanning back to you?
Or
2. Are you using Adobe Sign or Hellosign?
What is your satisfaction rating if you are using a…[Read more]

I’ve not had luck with anyone who has turned to GoFundMe help. I’ve tried when friends have posted these to mention that I could help with the insurance/medical bills while most of the funds could go to living expenses—yet no one seemed to want to hire me for a portion of the GoFundMe money. I don’t think this is a good Care Partner Project…[Read more]

It’s called Lifeline. 988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. While some areas may be currently able to connect to the Lifeline by dialing 988, this dialing code will be available to everyone across the United States starting on July 16, 2022.

We’ve been so pleased to see how excited people are to attend ICOPA – woo hoo!
A couple of notes:
1. We changed our covid policy to reflect the CDC-accepted definition of “fully vaccinated” (no booster needed). Masking is still a question mark but could change many times between now and the end of April. The policy is fluid. We’ll have a…[Read more]
