As far as I know (or Kyle knows) there have been NO lawsuits. The problems we are seeing are a reflection of the general insurance marketplace, including the cannibalization of larger insurers eating the smaller ones.

I’m curious re the discontinuation by One Beacon and for the halting of new policies via Kyle/Markel. In my experience, the only reason for a carrier to stop writing a policy is because the expenses (including litigation costs) and indemnity (liability payouts) exceed the premiums collected.

OMG, $3700.00 for insurance. Thank God I am a nurse and can get coverage thru HPSO/NSO. I am so sorry that there isn’t better coverage for the non-nurses. Keep working on this issue.
