Good morning,
I am new to this organization and cannot express how thrilled I am to have found a “tribe” of like minds. I am board-certified as a nurse practitioner in hospice and palliative care. I am excited to start my advocacy business but cannot and do not want to give up my credentials for various reasons including the requirement at where I teach part-time. I am looking to connect with others who are in the same situation.
Thank you in advance,
Elena Prendergast

Hi, I continue clinical practice on a per diem basis, usually one day/week. I like keeping up my clinical skills, having my ear to the ground on hospital/etc scuttlebutt, and it facilitates networking.

Hi Elena, fellow NP here. I am waiting on legal documents and final touches of my website…. along with what feels like a long list of other to dos, then I’ll be open for business. I’d love to talk if you are interested. Email me and we can setup a time. sarah@ascentpatientadvocates.com

Hi folks – I’m new to the APHA team, but I encourage you to check out our Member Welcome Sessions! You do not need to be a new member to join and it is a great way to connect with other advocates. You can sign up for this month’s session here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZArduugrD8rH9Zvc-4m2c5WFD2NlsxGkuBI#/registration
Links to other sessions are in the weekly Agenda Newsletter as well.
Let me know if you need any help.
