new   Putting LinkedIn to Work for You and Your Practice

Tuesday, April 12, 2022

LinkedIn’s roots were all about creating online connections among business people, and helping employers and job hunters connect.

Today LinkedIn may still do that – but its usage has gone miles beyond “just” that. Today LinkedIn can be a great way to connect with other advocates, potential clients, businesses that need advocates – and more.

However – promoting your advocacy practice, and making those connections requires a very specific approach to creating your LinkedIn profile. Whereas we used to add resume-type information to LinkedIn (for those early usages), today there is a far more effective approach to promoting yourself and your work to the right people on LinkedIn.

How? Enter this topic’s expert,
Nicole Broadhurst, APHA member and proprietor of Tennessee Health Advocates. Nicole has made a study of this advanced approach to her LinkedIn profile, and is prepared to help others improve their listings, too. It’s a new way of thinking about LinkedIn and who and how it can affect, then compiling a profile that helps make that happen. Take a look at Nicole’s LinkedIn profle to see her different approach!

If you already have a LinkedIn profile, this approach will very likely surprise you. If you don’t have one – then this is the time and place to get started.

Join us for this informative conversation featuring a new approach to making LinkedIn work for you and your practice.

Reviews found on Amazon:

This is a great marketing book that is exceptionally organized, easy to understand and includes exceptional advice. The specific marketing strategies on public relations, creative ideas on developing and defining your brand and the wonderful resource list at the end of the book are just a few reasons why I love and recommend this book.

While the information in the book is basic - good for someone with no business experience - it also lays out a concrete path of 'must do' tasks for anyone starting a private healthcare advocate business and keeps you on track.

This book is well written, well organized, and contains valuable information for businesses in this field. I recommend it without reservation.
