APHA Expert Call-in
Helping Your Clients Pay for Your Services (or
Anything Else)
in an Unexpected Way
Wednesday, June 3
Often you hear from a
potential client who would love to hire you, but is
limited in his/her ability to pay you. Or, they call to
ask you to help them manage and reduce medical bills and
are left with little or no means to pay a balance, or…
you know… the list, and those who struggle to pay, goes
on. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
They may not realize there could be an untapped resource
they never even knew existed! No, it’s not about
borrowing money, and it’s not money that ever needs to
be paid back.
Lisa Rehburg is the principal of Rehburg Life
Settlements. She works with people to uncover funds they
might never have gained access to in any other way;
funds that would have just disappeared, kept by a life
insurance company that never had to pay out for its
insured customer.
Lisa will walk us through how such a “settlement” works,
and scenarios where clients can benefit. She’ll also
tell us about the process to gain access to the funds,
and will manage our expectations about possibilities. |

Are You Certified?
Do you need to earn CEs or CEUs?
Please take the
PracticeUP! Online
CE / CEU Survey
PracticeUP! Online has offered BCPA CEUs
since its inception.
Recently we have begun reaching out to
additional certifying bodies
to get permission to offer PracticeUP! students the CEs / CEUs they
need. But we need to know from you which
certifications they should be! Examples:
see above -
the new Pandemic course now offers
CEs for three different certifying bodies.
The survey will take about 2 minutes
of your time,
and could make earning your CEs or CEUs much easier.
Find the survey
here.
Deadline: May 15th

This is a great marketing book that is exceptionally organized,
easy to understand and includes exceptional advice. The specific
marketing strategies on public relations, creative ideas on
developing and defining your brand and the wonderful resource
list at the end of the book are just a few reasons why I love
and recommend this book. |
|
|
|
|
|
While the information in the book is basic - good for someone
with no business experience - it also lays out a concrete path
of 'must do' tasks for anyone starting a private healthcare
advocate business and keeps you on track. |
|
|
|
|
|
This book is well written, well organized, and contains valuable
information for businesses in this field. I recommend it without
reservation. |

Many of our members with clinical
credentials - doctors, nurses, advanced practice nurses, physician
assistants, and others -- are working on the front lines to defeat this
virus and end this pandemic.
Many others are volunteering their time to make others' lives easier and
allay some of their fears in the midst of this horror.
Our sincere thanks to each of you for
helping others through this crisis. |
